The Professional Pilot
Program includes all the ratings in preparation
for becoming a Commercial Pilot eligible for employment.
This program includes completing the Private Rating, Instrument
Rating, Commercial Pilot Rating, Certified Flight Instructor
and Certified Flight Instrument Instructor Rating in the
Schweizer 300C. The Turbine Transition can be done any time
after the Private
License.The Commercial License can be completed in the required 115 hours as
specified by the FAA. However, due to industry insurance requirements, to be
eligible for employment the pilot may require 35-85 additional flight hours.
After completing the Private License there are a number of course options available,
including Turbine, Mountain Flying and External Load. At course completion
it is possible to have built experience in the Schweizer 300C, hold a Helicopter
Instrument Rating, hold a Certified Flight Instructor Rating and have completed
transitions in the Bell 206, Mountain Training and External Load Training.
The Professional Pilot Program includes all materials and equipment necessary
to complete the course.
